The AI for Services network is hosting an exclusive virtual interactive workshop in partnership with CII on Monday 13th July 2020 that will offer senior representatives from leading insurance firms the opportunity to inform and influence possible future grant-funding opportunities to pursue world-class research and innovation.

Following on the success of the Next Generation Services programme, Innovate UK/UKRI is looking to advance their understanding of the challenges faced by the insurance sector firms in order to feed into a potential future programme proposal.

In particular, delegates will be invited to share their views on:

• The key challenges they are currently facing that can be solved by or relate to R&D / innovation. These can include pre-existing challenges and emerging as a result of COVID-19 (Medium to Long term).
• The key barriers to innovation, investment in, and adoption of AI/Data analytics technology.

The session will also offer an opportunity for delegates to:

• Hear about the current Next Generation Services programme and wider innovation support opportunities.
• Virtually meet with the UKRI/Innovate UK and KTN teams and other senior representatives from leading insurance firms working in R&D/ Innovation projects.
• The event will be held online using a digital workspace designed to guide delegates through a series of short workshop exercises that encourages virtual collaboration in small groups.
