This Virtual Roundtable for our North Wales colleagues will be an opportunity to better understand who we are, what we do, the services that we offer and the benefits of being part of the technology community in Wales.

More importantly we want to know from you, your challenges, opportunities and how we may work better together to help develop a strong and sustainable technology industry in North Wales - we all know a strong technology industry is key to delivering a prosperous economy for all.

This is a free of charge meeting for existing Technology Connected members (formerly ESTnet members) and those wishing to find out more about being part of this vibrant community

We all know everyone has had their fair share of Zoom calls this year, and you will be pleased to know that we haven't prepared any lengthy powerpoints, as we would rather let you use this opportunity to share with us what is important to you, capturing your needs and how we can work better together.

We will of course be wanting to highlight to you what we've done so far in 2020 to keep the lights on for businesses in Wales during what has been very challenging times, and focus on the valuable member services you may or may not be aware of through our new website and brand Technology Connected that can be used to help you survive and thrive.

These include;

  • Emerging Tech Fest – how adopting new technologies and showcasing our tech businesses can help transform and improve organisations
  • Wales Tech Week – in July we delivered the first ever Wales Tech Week - a virtual festival of 100 digital events across 5 days with over 4000 attendees across 17 countries helping to put Welsh innovation and technology on the global stage back in July
  • Member Spotlight - how we go about marketing and helping you build promotional opportunities for your organisation.
  • Business News Wales - gaining coverage and exposure across Wales as part of your membership.
  • Kickstart - a new Government initiative that we can help you access through your membership of Technology Connected giving young people opportunities for work placements
  • Your voice is critical – our trend surveys and their data help inform and influence key stakeholders

Be part of building a brighter future for the technology industry in Wales.
