To qualify, the tech start-ups must exemplify traits such as agility, innovation, and resilience. They should not only offer fresh perspectives on existing technology but also be trailblazers in introducing new products or services. The champion of this category will have cracked the code to thrive in today's fiercely competitive market.


Entries must have been founded after 26 November 2022.

The Aled Miles International Impact Award


In this category, we seek to spotlight a Welsh tech company that has demonstrated outstanding achievements and expansion beyond the borders of the United Kingdom.


We're on the lookout for the extraordinary stories of businesses that have introduced innovative services or products in new countries, expanded their team internationally, secured international contracts or clients, and, as a result, witnessed significant growth in their company turnover or team size. This award celebrates those who have successfully made their mark on the global stage.

Rising Star of the Year Award


In this category, we are on the hunt for a rising talent, an individual who holds immense promise to become a future tech leader. This remarkable person has already made strides in their career, showcasing noteworthy progress.


They are the architects of successful and innovative projects, and have significantly contributed to their company's achievements, leaving an indelible mark on the tech industry. Entries are open to apprentices, recent graduates, women returners, and career changers who are redefining the trajectory of their careers and the tech sector itself. This award celebrates the ones to watch, the emerging tech stars of tomorrow.


Nominees must have worked within the tech industry for less than three years before the date of the awards (from 26 November 2022).
