Working previously in public sector, third sector, and health education in a variety of roles. John has most recently managed research and knowledge exchange across the University Enterprise Zone at UWE Bristol. At Simply Do Ideas, John manages a portfolio of research and innovation projects with clients including Rolls-Royce and the NHS.

He is a published author in the domains of innovation, social mobility and widening access to Higher Education and is completing a PhD in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
