The Centre for Digital Public Services (CDPS) was launched on 1st June with the objective of testing how we can best support the digital transformation of public services across Wales.

It will deliver a 6 month alpha phase exploring and testing (i) a digital skills curriculum for public sector senior leaders and staff; (ii) how we can curate and share good practice and setting the common services standards that work for Wales; (iii) deployment of an expert digital transformation squad to conduct a rapid discovery and alpha on a public service.

This event will provide further information about the Centre and start to explore how the private sector and academia across Wales can play its part in helping ensure that every aspect of our public services in Wales, whether Local Government, Social Services, Health, or Welsh Government and all of its public bodies, deliver services that meet the needs and expectations of the user.

In this webinar we want to have a discussion as to how the new CDPS can add the best value for the people of Wales. How can we best deliver digital skills training and what skills do our public servants need? How can we best share information of what has and hasn't worked well? What has worked well in your organisation? What are the pitfalls we need to be wary of?
