Jennifer Jones

News Anchor, BBC Wales Today

Jennifer Jones is best known as a News Anchor on BBC Wales' flagship television news programme, Wales Today. She's also proud to present BBC Radio Cymru's news and current affairs programme Dros Ginio, and regularly presents BBC Radio Wales' Breakfast and Drive news programmes.

During the covid pandemic, Jennifer fronted BBC Wales' coverage of the Welsh Government's daily press conferences and co-presented BBC Wales' Senedd Election coverage.

A North Walian and first language Welsh speaker, Jennifer presented S4C's National Eisteddfod programmes during the covid lockdowns. This year she was reporting from the festival for English language news. 

An experienced reporter, Jen's recent work with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine was broadcast on BBC World Service.

From voiceover artist for the police documentary The Crash Detectives, to personal appearances on programmes including Jonathan, Siop Siarad Owain and Mwy o Sgorio, Jen is currently enjoying a busy and varied career. She's delighted to be working with Technology Connected again this year.
